There is a trend among some freediving schools and instructors to present freediving as a yoga and a meditation. Are these reasonable claims and are these teachers qualified to teach in this manner? Is there are a risk to a person who is attracted to these ideas and how can a potential student be certain they are not putting their mental health and physical safety in jeopardy by trusting these people? Are these schools and teachers claiming to teach freediving as a yoga and meditation bona fide? How can we tell?

I was teaching a Freediver I class when about 100 dolphins showed up. It was a great opportunity to work with my student on how to enjoy their company without intruding and for me to shoot some pics and vids. I suggest that you watch the vids in a larger format on YouTube and turn up the volume so you can hear the dolphins.

Everblue Freediving provides private freediving instruction. However, if requested, we can accomodate couples and friends that want to learn together. There is a vibrant and traveling freediving community and with a little research friends and couples can take on some amazing adventures freediving in remote parts of the world meeting rare and interesting beings. These two have a good start, they are both 30ft divers now and very interested to learn more - together.
